of my connection and love of the earth. I like to work with elements of nature, rolling leaves onto clay, pressing bark in for expressive marks, casting clay slip right into creekside sand and stone. I enjoy sharing clay with others, providing them with an experience they can pick up, feel and perhaps feel more of a connection with the earth themselves. Enjoy!

Hi, I'm Chris Burke
An Ohio native, I have always been drawn into nature. As a young child I roamed the hills and streambeds of southern Ohio, collecting and arranging rocks, bones and sticks.
Once in college (BFA in Ceramics from The Ohio State University, 1991), I fell in love with clay, a natural continuation
